The Closing Meeting of the “Upskilling The Women in NEET: From Household Economies to Leading Enterprises” (UP HOLD) Project was held.
The closing meeting of the UP-HOLD (Upskilling The Women in NEET: From Household Economies to Leading Enterprises) project numbered 2020-1-TR01-KA204-092949, which was submitted to the Turkish National Agency in 2020 under the coordination of Pendik Municipality and was awarded a grant within the scope of Erasmus+ Adult Education Strategic Partnerships and The multiplier event was held on 15-16 December 2022 in Pendik, Istanbul.
Our University, Topcoach (Slovakia), Fundacja Autokreacja (Poland) and Solidaridad Sin Fronteras (Spain) are partners in the project, of which Pendik Municipality is the coordinator.
Project activities aiming at ensuring the participation of women aged 25 and above in the labor market in line with the trainings they will receive in the fields of economy, digital competence, entrepreneurship and e-commerce were carried out in a two-year period covering 31.12.2020-30.12.2022.
First of all, in the project where a database was created on the subject, Household Economy, Digital Competence and Entrepreneurship & E-Sales Trainings were given to female participants. At the meeting; All activities including the management of the project, intellectual outputs, dissemination activities, transnational meetings and multiplier events were evaluated and participation certificates were presented to the project team of the partner countries. Representing our University, the project coordinator Prof.Dr. Hatice Yurtsever and researchers Assoc. Prof.Dr. Pinar Pehlivan and Dr. Lecturer Lale Yakupoğlu attended.
