“Women in Business” Seminar Held in Istanbul Pendik

Within the scope of the closing event of the UP-HOLD (Upskilling The Women in NEET: From Household Economies to Leading Enterprises) project, which our university is a partner and Pendik Municipality is the coordinator of, the “Women in Business” seminar was hosted by Gedik University.

Prof.Dr.Hatice Yurtsever, a lecturer from Manisa Celal Bayar University Faculty of Business Administration, attended the seminar moderated by Gedik University Faculty Member Dr. Lecturer Ece Erbuğ. In the seminar titled “Women in the Business”, a presentation was made that included statistical data on women’s employment in our country, the importance of women’s employment, women’s entrepreneurship, and basic information on institutions and organizations that support women. In addition, the difficulties faced by women in business life were discussed in detail and some suggestions were made to overcome these difficulties. University students, faculty members, representatives of the project partners, women who were previously trained within the scope of the project and the Pendik Municipality City Council Women’s Assembly showed great interest in the seminar held at Gedik University Pendik Campus.
